Rob Diggy Entertainment (EPK)

Multi Talented Producer, Arranger, and Film Composer.
As a Film Composer, Diggy has been quite successful and accredits his success to two of his well-known mentors, Spike Lee and Steven Spielberg; he says,” these men have had a great impact on his life by w
hat they have contributed to the Film and Entertainment Industry over the years. Rob Diggy, often called “The Sixth Man of Music”, has been compared to phenomenal Composer’s and Producer’s like Terrence Blanchard, Brian Tyler, and Danny Elfman.

When Beyonce released her Multi-Platinum “Dangerously In Love” album in 2004, it featured the smash hit “Crazy In Love”, which earned Diggy a Grammy for his Outstanding Keyboard Arrangement and Musicianship for the remix. Diggy also recognizes that much of his success as an Arranger and a musician comes from another mentor and long time friend, Morris Hayes (Keyboard player for the famed artist “Prince”). Morris taught Diggy the art of keyboard synthesis and to this day still learns from him.

Film and Production Reel
Trust, My Phamily Barbeque, Hostile Take Down, Three, The Engagement, Tactical, Ransum Games, Paulo Coelho’s The Witch of Portobello Winner of The International Film Competition, and Are We Predestined A Documentary about the many facets of Religion, RE/MAX Spot.

*The Engagement was an official selection for the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) and the Black Harvest Film Festival; and Ransom Games was an official selection for the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) and the Hollywood Black Film Festival (HBFF).

PRECIOUS: GREAT FILMMAKING?

I recently went to the theater to see the Lee Daniel's directed film "Precious". I must say I was very dissapointed with this film. The screenplay wreaks of contrivance. The dream sequences, the voice over narrative, the stereotypes, the flashbacks, the dialogue all seem to be smeared on top as oppose to woven within. Because of the Oscar buzz surrounding this film and the star power behind it I was wondering what my fellow A.A.F. members think about this movie.

Just A Black Man's Observation

I'm not an avid TV junkie by any stretch of the imagination, but women are quite popular when it comes to TV and they are doing many great things in up lifting the young women in Black America, like you have Oprah,Tyra and others doing many things to ensure that the young women learn self value, but where are the men in Hollywood helping brothers? Here is my point , at 24 for years of age I know black men my age who feel like we are just looked down upon and villainized , especially when we're t… Continue
